“I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths. As for you, always be sober-minded, endure suffering, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.”
– 2 Timothy 4:1–5
Christ-centred,
Evangelical,
Expositional and
Experiential Preaching
We believe in the thorough, passionate preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom that exalts Christ as Lord over all areas of life. We seek to preach the whole counsel of God by expositing His word verse by verse. Moreover, preaching ought to be experiential; namely, it should be heart-to-heart rather than merely head-to-head, as, sadly, many sermons tend to be. Preaching ought to bring fire to the pulpit and exhibit both heat and light. As such, we strive to zealously proclaim the truth of God’s Word for the conversion of lost souls and to call God’s covenant people to offer themselves up continually as living sacrifices to the Lord Jesus Christ.
